artist thoughts:

Im particularly interested in historical figures public and private. And two of my interests are that of Abraham Lincoln and Barack Obama. As as artist who was born and raised and currently lives in Illinois, the correlation's between these to Illinois figures is endlessly intriguing. So I continue to find myself inspired to paint images of these 2 amazing historical figures.

As I spoke of before, there is a bit of a movement going on in the art world, where artists are creating painting 5x5” to 8x10”. And accomplishing two things by doing this. One: the artist gets to explore more subject matter as paintings are finished faster due to size. and Two: The artist creates an original painting that is smaller in size and therefor can be priced at a very affordable price.
